The members of this Grove are Dedicants and beginning-levels Initiates. The Initiates have all of the privileges granted to the Congregants and Dedicants. Dedicants and Initiates are asked to pay a small monthly membership fee and pay for classes, as well as donations of time as needed.

Dedicants and Initiates are responsible for participating in as many Coven events and workshops as possible. Dedicants and Initiates are required to participate in the classes and both are responsible for paying for any books or supplies deemed necessary to continue their studies. Initiates may choose to be called by their chosen Craft name as announced in their Initiation Ritual.

Initiates are required to be apprenticed to at least one member at any given time. Initiates may wear cloaks or robes in ritual, as well as the appropriate rope belt for their Degree and bead cord, as applicable. Initiates may be asked to participate as Quarter Callers or other necessary roles such as ritual space assembly, disassembly and clean up. It is very important that Initiates take these responsibilities seriously as they are given to assist Initiates in continuing their spiritual journeys, as well as ensure a safe and powerful ritual.

Initiates are encouraged to attend such large pagan gatherings as ATC's Spring Mysteries and are responsible for providing for themselves appropriate ritual clothing as determined by the Church and ATC. We will aid the Initiates in the creation and design of robes and tabards, but they are responsible for the cost of the materials involved. (If Dedicants are close to the end of their year and a day, they may be invited to join the Initiates at these festivals.)
